About the Author: Johah T. Simons
Jonah grew up in a Christian home and confessed Christ at an early age. He was involved in his local church and, on the outside, looked like the model Christian. But inside, he harbored a dark secret that would haunt him throughout his life. On the verge of his teen years, he became embroiled in various addictions. Again and again he tried to deal with these struggles. At one time he even confessed them before his entire church family, but he never found freedom. Instead, he created two lives — a secret inner life and the one he showed the world. As he grew up, got married and became a father, he gradually fell deeper into sin — to such depths of that he ended up losing his family, career and freedom. Then he realized he was one of those who “though seeing could not see.” And so he wrote this book as a warning to others.
